For the past 35 years, Ballybeen Womens Centre (BWC) has been developing and delivering quality services in an area of low and weak community infrastructure and objectively
defined as disadvantaged. BWC promotes social inclusion by involving the most marginalised and disadvantaged groups in the community in the development and management of programmes to address their needs. BWC established the Peer Education Project (PEP) in 1992 and it is now the longest established Peer Education Project in NI. The PEP aims to support, educate and empower young people to make positive health and lifestyle choices through the development and delivery of a range of peer led programmes, one-to-one mentoring and a drop-in support service. Sexual health, mental health and well-being are priority areas of work and staff and volunteers have undertaken training in sexual health, suicide prevention, mental health first aid, drugs and mental health, life maps and promoting resilience and a positive outlook. The PEP has a history of success in delivering services which are accessible to all young people and in developing programmes which young people can identify with and have a strong sense of ownership over.

We develop:
Welcome Home International believes that integration is a two-way street. We seek innovative methods to support refugees and asylum seekers arriving in our societies. By implementing and designing hands-on projects, we create inviting environments where newcomers and local community members can acquire the tools and information they need to help integration happen naturally.
Currently, Welcome Home International is operating many of its on the ground activities in the refugee reception centre Le Petit-Chateau in Brussels, Belgium, where we have had great success filling a need for volunteer activities and events that engage the new arrivals with local community members. Our focus is also on app development for free and easy language acquisition and media projects that unite arriving and receiving cultures.

Current machine learning approaches, including AutoML solutions, have severe limitations when applied to real-world business problems and fail to unlock the true potential of AI for the enterprise. For instance, in the case of predictions, they severely overfit and do not adapt when the environment changes. causaLens’ Causal AI Platform goes beyond predictions, providing transparent causal insights and suggesting actions that directly improve business KPIs.
